Steve Rudkowski, B. Comm, CPA, CA

Graduating from the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business in 2001 and the Chartered Accountants School of Business in 2004, Steve has practised as a public accountant since 2004.

He is a member of a number of organizations including the Canadian Tax Foundation. His general compliance practice focuses primarily on owner-managed businesses, individuals and estates. Steve is fluent in German and is learning Spanish, thanks to his wife Claudia.

With his wife, their son Cristopher, and their Mexican street-dog Chico, Steve enjoys travelling the world whenever possible.

Paul Phillips, CPA, CGA

Paul completed his CGA designation in 1996 and immediately embarked on a career with a focus on tax planning.

Paul completed the CPA in-depth tax program shortly after receiving his designation and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society and Calgary Tax Planners.

He divides his time between Calgary and Golden, BC, where, when not working, he’ll be found either mountain biking, ski touring or hiking.

Diana and Jared are the wife-and-husband team of the firm. They met while working at an accounting firm in Edmonton and moved to Calgary in 2011 to join Seguro.

Their growing practice is focused on small business clients whose owner-managers appreciate a service-based, face-to-face approach. They offer sound direction and valued advice on all aspects of the client’s business; reaching a more personal level beyond the basic accounting and tax numbers.

Beyond work, they have a young daughter Chloe and a Golden doodle Charlie. Their interests include golf, travel, and anything outdoors.
